Its the end of the month and its time to shop!!!!!!!!! Just got back from a mini shopping trip :D

I've not been working for nearly a week. And im not going to be working for another 4 days. I have 4 days off and im planning to go somewhere for a mini holiday. Either Athens or Goa. Need to find hotels!!! S exciting!!!!! I think i spent too much of my pay this month already.. Damn those pretty dresses and shoes!!

I was really looking forward to having a nice flt but as usual i didn't get any. I got Bombay. My friend (who is currently a vegan) told me that she had nice Bombay flights before but im really skeptical about it. The only thing that keeps me going is the thought of seeing her tml after my flt. If im not too tired due to the lack of sleep and the abundance of Indians. The thought of what i will be going through makes me nauseous. haha ok fine. This post is full of exaggeration. I'm thankful though because i met the man of my dreams from Bombay and migrated him to Singapore. Please still love me.

I just got back from Calcutta. Its a short flight and its a layover. So no complains.. :D I didn't get out of my room at all during my stay there. I was so tired i slept so much and woke up and watched movies on HBO, ordered room service, slept and woke up and ordered room service again until its time for my flight the next day.. I planned to go out with some of the Indian crew but was too lazy. The airport was seriously weird. Its as though we went back to the 1970s. The building is ancient. When we were walking to the bus, kids came running towards us begging for money. It was heart-wrenching seeing small kids running after tourists in the cold. They were like, please madam, some money. I need to eat, no money. Please madam. Please madam. Oh my god!! I couldn't take it. We quickly went into the bus and they were by the door looking at us. I cried as usual!! But i really had no rupees to give them.. I felt like giving them my phone. But i know that the person in charge of them would be the one getting the money they begged for. The ride to the hotel was bumpy and now i know how poor people can really be. The condition of some of the houses are so bad. And its winter there now. I can just imagine how cold they must be. The road dividers are made up of pieces of wood tied together and everything looks so dull and grey which is ironic cuz the hotel is one of the best hotels i've ever stayed in though. So much better thn the hotels in any European countries. That country is really depressing and i feel so blessed to be born in a country where everyone has a comfotable home and nobody has to beg for food.

I just came back from Melbourne and i DON'T like Australian flights. Its tooo long!! 14 hrs in the plane doing nothing is seriously boring. We get to sleep for 5 hrs but i couldn't sleep cuz i slept before the flt and when its time to wake up, i felt sleepy!! I was working in business class and i only had to serve like 3 passengers. And they were always sleeping. So i ate and ate and ate. Cheese, fruits, desserts, pies. U name it. I ate it!! Everything but hot meals although i think its the same. Im now at dada's place waiting for her to finish showering. I was so hungry so i came up and she cooked pasta for me. Probably going out later. Im still sleepy though. Nothing much to write about. I flew with a group of very nice people.. Goodnight all

I woke up early yesterday (for the first time) on my off day to eat Mcdonalds breakfast. Breakfast for me is usually at 2 in the afternoon after i wake up. After breakfast we followed Rainy to the hospital for the appointment. Went to Daiso after that and i seriously have nothing to buy which is shocking!! Went over to Kutu's place yesterday cuz she was too stressed about being an 'ELITE' . Im trying to find someone to paint my room at a cheap price but i cant seem to find anyone. Ok fine ive not tried to ask around but still shouldnt they have signs ard the building or something?? This post is going no where. Im going to find something to eat.

Rainy is going to pick me up tml morning and bring me out for breakfast at Mcdonalds!! Im craving for Mcdonlds laa its so pathetic. Im lazing ard at home (Whats new) cuz i have like 4 days off before my Sin/Bri flt which i hope im still doing. I need to get more Dvds frm Shanghai cuz i finished watching all my series and i cannnot watch GG here cuz its blocked!! The last 7 hrs were spent in bed with my kicap ayam Bread with butter and jam, ice jelly and fruit cocktail and very very nice evaporated milk. I know weird combination but it was yummy.. And countless glasses of ribena.

My rm mate's bf came today and when he tried opening the door he couldn't cuz i put my keys in the lock. See, my rm mate is not ard and wont be ard until the 26th so i really don't like him in the hse although he minds his own business and uses the kitchen and toilet as quietly as he can. Im not bothered that he will rape me or whatever cuz he jumps whenever he sees me. So no need to be scared that he'll try to touch me. But i like to be alone at home and sing to myself when i try to cook. And more often thn not there will be a foul smell coming frm the kitchen due to my negligence. So i would appreciate it if no one is ard to witness the mess i created. And if someone is around, i cannot switch off the a/c. Its freezing in my hse!! Anyway back to the story, I heard him trying to open the door and i knew that he can't. So i let it be. I sat beside the door listening to him trying to unlock the door and laughed quietly to myself. After imagining his sorrow(like him crying with snot running down his big bulbous nose cuz he came all the way to his pretty little gf's home to sit and watch some free tv and eat some free food but he cannot come in cuz the monstrous rm mate left her key in the lock) i decided to be nice and open the door for him.

Oh well, im going to call the grocery store downstairs and have them send me some ice cream.. Have a good night all. Or should i say morning.

I was pulled out of my Sg flight yet again. Given a paris. It was better thn Kuwait..
I flew with a friend and a batchmate. Paris was nice. The 45 mins train ride to Notre Dame De Paris was filled with guys singing old french songs. It was just like in the movies. And on the way back this african man was shouting at the top of his lungs about Jesus and stuff. Weird. And i squealed when i saw the Eiffel Tower..

We were trying to be more happening. So we decided to head to Zinc where entrance is free and drinks are dirt cheap. Well, most places are free n we hve discounts for drinks but Zinc is just 25 dirhams cab ride away..

I tried to disown them but they were persistent

I just got back from Aminah's house with Rainy and her daughter. Rainy's little girl is the most adorable thing on earth. She wakes up from her sleep,smile,crawls up to ur lap and kiss u. Had Popeys for lunch and watched DVDs at her place. Anyway, i went to Zinc with Charlene, Meow and Ann. The music was horrible.. Stayed over at Meow's and had dinner with the girls the day after, went to the movies after that. I have a Bahrain tomorrow and another 2 days off.. :D Ok seriously i have nothing to blog about!! i quarelled with a cab driver cuz he doesnt want to drive into my house. He said that there's no road and he cannot drive in. I told him that all the other cab drivers were fine with it and he was like what cab drivers? i was so pissed that i told him im not going to pay because he didnt send me to my house. I open the door and he tried to stop me and he tried to pull my leg. I shouted at him and went out of the cab. He came out and took out his phone and threatened to call the police. I threw 15dirhams at him and walked away. Ok i know im being unreasonablebut it was 230 in the morning and i was wearing my new shoes!!! i cannot walk through sand in pretty shoes!!

Im now at meow's place waiting for her to wake up. Its going to be 4 in the afternoon.. Came back from Sin-Mel yesterday and it was a good flight. the crew were nice and we went out in Mel for dinner in some pub and it was quiz night. I won a 5 dollars voucher for my team from the heads or tails game. The weather there was horrible. 4 degs and the wind was insanely strong. My teeth were chattering during the 20 mins walk to the pub. And i thought my fingers were going to drop off. I prefer Dubai's weather. Went back to see my family and Mr Man in Sin. I have good flights this month.. :)

The trip frm Sin to Mel was quite cool cuz we nearly had to restrain a drunk passenger .Well, he's actually my friend and he was very touchy and got aggresive when i told my collegue to bring him to his seat. He wanted to punch passengers and was shouting at the top of his lungs. Way too akward for me. Imagine restraining ur friend. But the purser talked to him and he decided to go back to his seat and sleep. Was escorted by some security guys in Mel.

Anyway, i just came back from my leave. I had a great time at home. Spent time with my family, Mr Man and friends. It was very nice. It was my first Hari Raya giving out money and it wasn't too bad. Im really hungry now and i need to get something to eat.. I'll upload pictures when i have the time..:)

10 more days!! wohoo!! I just woke up and its already 3 in the afternoon. I really need to clean up my room. Its been like this since 4 days ago. Ive not yet unpacked my suitcase from shanghai and my things are all over the place. The dishes needs washing, need to do my laundry, clean my room, make my bed.. I just called staff travel and changed my ticket!!! I hope im able to get on that flight.. Anyway, Shanghai was nice. I really liked it. I dont like the smell but the place is just like wat u see on TV. People on motorcycles driving on the walkway all those things.. I bought so many DVDs and its damn cheap!! The flight was not too bad. People were smelly and couldnt understand a thing i was saying. And in China people were so hostile towards me. They kept staring and i was buying apples and i was waiting for the person to weigh it and someone just went in front of me and others followed.. WTF!! And when i smiled at people they ignored me. Just got back from jakarta..Flight was good. It was around 8 hours to get from DXB to Jakarta. I absolutely love the weather there. Its so much nicer compared to the european countries or Australia. Ok maybe im being bias cuz im frm Sg but who cares.. I planned to go to the mall but was really lazy so i stayed in the hotel. The crew was great and we gathered by the pool and swam and stayed talking with the captains until the early morning. My room was a bit freaky. They were all saying things like the 3rd floor of the hotel was haunted and all and when we checked in i was on the 3rd level and everyone else was on 2nd.. I went into the room and there was a musty smell cuz its all wooden furniture and things. It feels as though i was in a horror film and all my movements were being watched. But nothing happened.. I guess i was just being paranoid but i slept with the lights on.. :) The dinner buffet was good and i was hungry after my swim. The next morning i booked for a massage at the spa. It was really ticklish and ive never had a massage before. The masseuse had to stop a couple of times to tell me to relax and we ended up giggling together when she massaged my thighs. After the massage i went to the pool again with the rest of the crew. Couldnt sleep at all before the flight so i watched movies on HBO..

It all started with nachos and salsa with a lil bit of tobasco. I was eating and suddenly Ann the random queen decided to go sheesha. being the lazy bugger that i was, i declined and told her that sheesha is bad for her health.

She was very very persistent and i remembered the gift that 'Laban' gave her.. Her own Sheesha!! So i asked her and she was like but i dunno how to make. So i said lets try together. So she took it out and started making her own sheesha. She had a bit of experience cuz 'Laban' did it infront of her before.. I have never seen it and was awed by her knowledge. The apple flavoured thingy...She had to put it on this thing and press it down and put it in another thing.I told you there was pressing involvedThen, we had to burn the charcoal in her balconyAfter that she put the charcoal on the thing and ta-daaa!! her sheesha is done She forced me to try it and insisted that hers is better than the one in shops..

I started my leave early cuz i had 2 days off before my official leave. The plane ride was uncomfortable and i saw felipe!! shit man..

-Anyway, Mr man picked me up at the airport and sent me home. I picked up a very happy Amin from school and brought him and tul to JP for dinner.

- Went to my grandmother's place the day after. My grandmother invited him in and he was looking through all my old photos and he thought i looked like one of my uncle. How nice

-Met Nora and Norm and Gahir on wednesday.

-Met Nora and Sarah on Thursday. We had dinner at Orchard Central and it was hilarious. We were seriously chepos and shared appetizers

-Went karaoke-ing with my cousins and stayed the night at ECP. It was really cold..

- Met Norm and Gahir again on Sat aft for a movie and off to my grandmother's place.

-Went to JB with my parents on Sunday

-Had a date with Mr man on Mon :)

-Was supposed to meet my friends on Tuesday but it was cancelled so went my grandmother's place again.

-Cancelled Wed's outing cuz amin was sick :(

- Thursday went to get some last minute things to bring home. And i realised my flight was at 0140 instead of the 9 plus in the morning i thought it was. It was 1130pm and i threw everything in my luggage and st away took a cab to the airport.. Heng ah..

I had a great time although in sg. But i didnt get to meet my 5 girls.. Its ok when i come back i'll meet them.. :)

Im now at the airport waiting for my flight. It's delayed and its really annoying cuz im very tired. And they have been changing the boarding gate since just now. It was 119, and 222 and now 230. And its not confirmed. My perth flight was really nice but its really really long. I got back just now and i was dead tired. Slept for a few hrs and Mr Man called to wake me up to pack my bags for SG. On my way to perth, i met a very nice elderly couple. They were so happy that i talked to them and i realised that they lived in SG for 4 yrs and really liked it. They gave me their numbers and their daughter's number in case i needed a friend in perth. They were really really lovely.ok i need to board the plane now!!

Just got back from Dhaka again. My flight today was better i think... I really pity those banglas. They sold they houses or vehicles to come to Dubai to work thinking they will have a better life but they wont. It would actually be worse. Their pay would be like what? 500 dirhams per month maybe and they cant do anything with that money la.. Oh well. Anyway ive been eating soo much today at home and in the plane.

Cochin was ok.. But it was soooo damn bumpy laa being the monsoon season and all.. And we were 40 thousand feet above the ground and it was -55 degrees outside.. cool.. Ive never actually been in the plane when it was raining so yesterday was the first... And i find it very scary.. 9 more days to go before i get to see my family, Mr man and my friends.. I can't wait.. I realised that im going to miss out on soo many important events thats going on in Singapore and it makes me sad. My siblings are growing up so fast and its quite hard to catch up. But its ok. Ill be back for good one day.. Can't wait..

I got back from Dhaka yesterday.. It wasn't as bad as the first time. I remembered my first Dhaka. I called Mr man and i was crying and i told him i wanted to go home.. Flight was quite good actually.. But i think they have millions of videos of me walking around the cabin.. So weird la, i was actually telling them how to use the system and they were video-ing me.. WTF how to react?? Even when alighting they video-ed me.. weird.. nt planning to sleep until 5 so that i wont be too tired for my Cochin tonight.. Oh wish me luck.. :) ooh 10 more days to go!!

Im officially sick of trying to force myself to sleep before my standby at 2am. And since its going to be 12 soon i won't bother anymore. Its always like this. Everytime i need to rest before a flight, i can't sleep and its really annoying cuz i'll be sleepy later.. I tried drinking chamomile tea before sleeping, bathe before sleeping, not bathing before sleeping. Nothing works.. And when i lie in bed, i kept thinking of ramdom things like forests and my new melon scented air freshener. If not i'll be singing repetitive songs in my head.. Its horrible.. And oh i nearly burned my shawl... Shit man

Ive got too many off days.. Ok i know i complain when i get flights and also complain when im on off.. But seriously im damn bored. Stayed 2 nights at Meow's place. Had dinner yesterday with her and Ann.. Nothing much to do here but eat.. My tickets are confirmed and im going home!! Cant wait. i hope i will still want to come back to Dubai after my leave.. Sorry for the lack of update... I've been quite busy lately with Mr man's visit and my reserve month and stuff. He decided to come to Dubai to pay me a visit on the 29th of last month. We decided to put him on the plane i was operating back to Dubai frm Sg. I brought him ard the airplane and asked him to stay at the galley with me so he won't be too bored. Reached Dubai in the morning. I don't really remember the first few days of the trip. But i think we went grocery shopping and i remember complaining all the way back cuz it was way too heavy.

Back frm my 5 day trip.. Crew was quite good. I made friends with 2 Singaporean who will be in all my SG flights.. They are really nice and we were laughing and joking in the plane. The feeling when i landed in Changi Airport was indescribable. its like i was scared and excited at the same time. Have no idea why i was scared. It was so nice to see familiar things and places. Had late night supper with Mr man and met my Norm and Gahir.. It was so nice to see my friends. I miss having real friends here. Met my mom and she came to the hotel to accompany me.

Melbourne was beautiful from the bus. The Singaporean girls called me to ask me out but i was so tired and i slept the whole day. met the rest of the crew for dinner and we went to a casino and caught a movie. The day after i wanted to explore the place but i slept again until it was time to go. No photos, nothing from melbourne.

Went home this time round when im in SG. It was lovely eating my mom's cooking and seeing my siblings. Going home again soon. Going my grandmother's place one of these days.. :) My luggage was so heavy on the way home and the problem is i didn't even bring back a lot of things.. Just had dinner and im eating bread my mom packed for me.. going to sleep soon..

i left my tabard on board and someone called me and said he would put it in my mailbox!! that is awfully sweet.. i mean he can not bother cuz he needs to find my name cuz my name tag says lin and everything else says siti nurazlin(and most pple think its a nickname). then he needs to go to the portal or somewhere and check the flight number and get my phone number and call me. He's probably from a flight and must be very tired.. And he has to look for my mailbox and the best thing is my mailbox is locked and he needs to squeeze my tabard, my airsick pills in a small space. Bless him.. I was a bit upset cuz i left my tabard on board and theres my nametag there and my pills but im getting it back because of a very nice person!! Thank you Raul whoever you are.. :)

The min we get into the hotel, i took a shower. Went to Lucia's room to help her with her bag and armed with our cameras and maps, we went out to explore vienna.. Our first stop was a gelato shop.. they had cool ice cream flavours..

The whole place has lots of sweet shops.. so pretty

There were performers all around vienna.. And they are really good

and then we went to a park (which felt great) because in Dubai, there is just sand everywhere and we miss grass, trees and basically all the green stuff mother nature and cities provide to absorb the pollution of cosmopolitan areas.

we bought tickets to go to a Mozart/ Strauss opera concert. It was a 2 hours concert located in the Kursalon, built from 1865-1867 in Renaissance style. It is from what we read, one of the most splendid buildings in Vienna. The Strauss brothers celebrated their greatest triumphs in this historical building, next to the famous Golden Strauss Statue.

I had a wonderful day with themAfter the concert, we went to a local bar where we sat and talked about boys..Went back to the hotel quite late and i was freezing cold.. Woke up late the next day and ordered cheap room servicestole the jam cuz its cute and i love apricot jams..

I went to this place called Karama today. Totally have no idea whats there. Took the emirates bus to Meow's apt then a cab frm there cuz from the map it looks nearer.. Place was weird.. Pple kept asking if i want bags and shades and skinny jeans and pashminas.. After that i asked for directions to go to a shopping mall but before i reached the mall, i saw a bus stop and i took a public bus to this place called the Gold souk. The bus was not too bad. they have reserved seats for ladies.. My friends texted asking if i want to join them at the beach so i decided to head there.

But i changed my mind as i wanted to shop. So i waited for another bus to go to City Centre which is a mall near my place. There was this guy beside me who asked for the time. So i told him and he asked if i am from india(AGAIN!!) i said im frm sg and he asked me for my name and suddenly he was like u are beautiful can i have ur mobile number? WTF!! He's so old he can be my dad. Then he asked me if im from Korea.. Madness man this guy. He asked for my mobile number again and i said i dont have a dubai no and he said he will give me his. So he wrote it on my bus ticket. He told me to call him and he said he has an extra sim card to give me. He also said im his best friend.. I was so pissed and i told him that im going to take a cab instead. I walked away and waited at another junction. I heard someone beside me and i saw that he actually followed me. Physco.. He handed me the pen he used to write on my paper and said its a gift for me. He also told me that the area i was at was not a good place to get a cab and he asked me to follow him to the back where there are lots of cabs.. I quickly hailed a cab and hopped in. Enough of that nonsense, i went to city centre to shop, have dinner and watch Marley and Me.. :) service tomorrow..
